Here's what we were working with on this one - a classic brick ranch with trim and soffit boards that had clearly seen better days. Paint completely peeled away, wood darkened and soft in spots, and the whole roofline looking rough from every angle. It's the kind of thing that's easy to ignore until it becomes a bigger problem.
The thing about trim like this is it's not just cosmetic. When wood breaks down at the roofline, it opens the door to moisture getting where it shouldn't - behind the brick, into the framing, under the roof deck. Staying ahead of it with proper siding and trim repair is a lot cheaper than dealing with the damage that follows when you don't.
We got the crew set up and started pulling the old material. You can see the new vinyl siding already going up on the garage in the back - clean, tight lines, and a big improvement over what was there. The Van-Mark trim brake on site lets us custom-bend trim coil right there on the job, so every piece fits the way it's supposed to. No gaps, no exposed edges.
The main house soffit and fascia area is stripped back and ready for new material. Getting it done right means not skipping steps - addressing what's underneath before anything new goes on top. That's how you get a finished product that actually holds up, not just one that looks good for a season or two.
